The end...

Today marks the last day of the year and the end of my project 365 for 2010.  I know I am a few weeks behind on posting the pictures.  I will get them posted hopefully within a week or so.  Trust me that I do have them, I just have to find the time to scan and upload and share them.  I hope 2010  was a good year for all of you, it was for me.

Day 336...

So almost two weeks after surgery, Timothy decided we needed to make a trip down to Iowa City.  He fell in our dining room and split open his incision.  Doesn't that just make you want to cry?  But he was as happy as could be while we waited for the doctors, yes multiple docs, to decide what to do.  They finally decided to put some steri-strips on it and have us bring him back the next day so they could sedate him and stitch him up.  The steri-strips worked wonderfully though and no stitches were needed.  No more drama please Timothy!

Day 335...

We got our first Christmas card today!

Day 334...

So in the background is our new courthouse that is being built.  In the front is a car turning around because the train is stuck on the tracks.  One of the cars turned over and closed 2nd St SE for over a day.  Dietrich was excited about seeing the train close up and thought it was kind of funny that it got turned over.

Day 333...

I took myself on a date tonight to see Harry Potter.  I really enjoyed the movie and if I may say so, I am a good date, he he.

Day 332...

Timothy's incision 8 days after surgery...looking good!

Day 331...

This is how Timothy falls asleep every day.  He climbs out of his bed and cuddles his blanket on the floor.

Day 330...

Day 327...

Doesn't she look right at home?

Day 326...

Notice the two boys in their winter coats and Evelyn still in her fall jacket?  She is being stubborn about switching this year.

Day 325...

Evelyn really is sleeping somewhere inside this blanket.

Day 324...

Timothy really thought that his bed was a toy.

Day 323...

So the top one is the picture of the day.  Timothy had his second cochlear implant surgery today.  It went very smoothly, until he woke up afterwards.  He then pulled out his IV and pulled the pressure dressing off of his ear.  Both of these pictures show how his incision site looked.  Kind of gross but still okay.

Day 322...

Dietrich is playing in a box.  Not sure if it is a car, train, plane, or rocket ship, but he sure is having fun!

Day 321...

Three little monkeys on a bed....

Day 320...

Savannah wanted to tickle momma!

Day 319...

I have been going to the gym for a month now, trying to squeeze it in whenever I can.  Sometimes that is before the sun comes up and sometimes that is after the sun goes down, but usually it is while the sun in up.

Day 318...

My mug display.  I was a big coffee drinker back in the day.  Now it is hot cocoa and tea but I still love my mugs.

Day 317...

Damien was baptized today and I was brave and took Evelyn, Dietrich and Timothy all by myself.  Definitely worth it.

Day 316...

Dietrich and Timothy playing together.

Day 315...

Savannah is having fun playing in the kitchen

Day 314...

It sure is hard work eating...

Day 313...

Happy 2nd Birthday to Mason!

Day 312...

Dietrich does speech therapy every week and Donna, his speech therapist, always comes up with the cutest games for him to play and learn at the same time.  Evelyn is always wanting to get in on them.

Day 311...

Clearly not a new picture.  This month, Thanksgiving to be exact, will mark the four year anniversary of when we went to the temple and were sealed as a family.  We have come so far since then and grown so much.  I love that my family can be mine forever.

Day 310...

Damien and Isaac spent the night last night and had to have their favorite stuffed animals with them.

Day 309...

Evelyn didn't want to sleep in her bed tonight.

Day 308...

Look momma, we can play nicely together!

Day 307...

Savannah says "look momma I can dress myself!"

Day 306...

Here are Jessie's and Evelyn's pumpkins.

Day 300...

We have Princess Evelyn with Ben 10, Sheriff Woody, and Doctor Savannah.

Day 299...

So a small turn-out for playschool today.  Just Dietrich and Brynlee, but they sure look cute in their costumes.

Day 298...

Dietrich gets to dress up in a costume 3 times this week.  Twice for PDO, his "school" and then also for the playschool that we do with some of the moms from church.  Can you guess who he is?

Day 297...

Timmy wanted to try his hand at wiping down the table!!

Day 296...

This picture is from several years ago, back when Devan was the only grandchild.  Four years ago next Wednesday, my father passed away.  We never had the closest relationship, but he tried very hard to be a good father and a good husband.  I think that counts for a lot.  I have been thinking of him a lot lately, and I know that while we miss him, he is where he needs to be.  I wanted to share this picture because I think that it is important to look back at where we come from and to remember the truly important things in life. Only my two oldest children got to meet him here on earth, but I have told all of my kids about this man who helped me become the person I am today.  I am determined that Grandpa Albert will not be forgotten.  Daddy, we love you and miss you!

Day 295...

Evelyn had her first appointment with the eye doctor today.  She did really well and her eyes got a clean bill of health.

Day 294...

Timothy loves his shoes and blanket.

Day 293...

Savannah's assorted dinner.  Part of Evelyn's subway sandwich, Mandarin oranges, and a cut up hot dog.  She seems to like to mix it up.

Day 292...

Kathy comes over once a week to work with Timothy to help him develop his speech.  As you can see from this picture, Savannah and Dietrich like to get in on the action.

Day 291...

So this is what happens when I get behind on my picture of the day posts.  I forget that I already got a picture of Savannah driving just a week or two ago and take another one.  GO ME!
