Day 116...

So this is the only decoration in my main bathroom.  Not very decorative.  I am working on convincing my husband that we need to do more, we will see how it goes.

Day 115...

Today I subbed for a friend and taught his primary class.  It was fun and different.  I have never taught 6 & 7 year olds before.

Day 114...

Mommy's Mental Health Day

I went and got a pedicure and a manicure today.  It was so nice to have the majority of the day without kids.  A nice refresher for me.  I also had lunch with my best friend at one of our favorite restuarants.  Very relaxing.

Day 113...

Today was pajama day at Evelyn's school.  She had a lot of fun, not to mention it was a half day.

Day 112...

Timmy just playing and cuddling with Jessie.

Day 111...

Dietrich clearly wasn't feeling good today.  He zonked out on the couch at 10 am.  He slept for about two hours and was very cuddly after he woke up.

Day 110...

Timothy has recently discover the big kid toy area.  He really likes playing there!

Day 109...

DADDY'S HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 108...

So yesterday was when Jessie was suppose to be home.  Instead he will be coming home tomorrow.  Since I was unable to go the women's symposium and it was a nice day out, I decided that we would take the van and clean it out.  The kids were really big helps and after about 45 minutes, I was very pleased with the results.  So here it is, photographic proof that my van was clean, at least for a few days!

Day 107...

So this is what our new path looks like.  It is very functional and safe, which was our big concern.  I also think it looks nice and adds character to the outside.  We are trying to do at least one project each year to make our house look nicer and to make sure it stays safe for the kids.  This was one of our projects this year.  It was an easier one since we hired someone else to do it, but we are very glad that it is done.  And that it turned out so well.

Day 106...

Evelyn sang tonight at Barnes and Noble.  It was Grant School's night and she was very exctied about it.  She sang and listened to stories and even got to buy a book.  The other kiddos did well, and Dietrich and Devan also got books.    Here is a picture of the other kiddos.
Isn't Devan such a good big brother reading to his siblings?

Day 105...

So Timothy is feeling much better today.  He figured out how to climb into Dietrich's rocking chair and was so proud of himself.  His hand is healing.  Not red at all and not nearly as swollen.  It is amazing how kids rebound so quickly.

Day 104...

The excitment never ends.   Timothy got stung by a bumblebee today.  I think he was crawling around the house and accidently smashed the bee and got stung.  I did find the bee later and it was smashed and dying.  Timothy never really fussed when it happened and I only put it together after his afternoon nap.  He woke up and this is what his hand looked like. Nice and swollen and red.  I am pretty sure that it hurt too because he wouldn't really use his hand and fussed if anybody touched it.  Thank goodness for the doctor who told me I could give him bendrayl.  It really helped him.

Day 103...

So we needed to have our pathway from the stairs to the driveway replaced.  A few years ago, a dump truck accidently ran over it and destroyed the hill by the driveway.  Jessis had tried to build it back up, but with little success.  So this year we hired his uncle Mark who owns a landscaping business to replace it.  He started on it today and Savannah was very intrigued by it.  Then she discovered that she could go down the hill.  It was a very fun afternoon.

Day 102...

Jessie getting ready to leave on his business trip.  6 days, 5 nights in Maryland for work.  Lucky him, not so lucky me!  No really, it's okay.  All part of the job.  We'll miss him, but he'll be back before we know it.

Day 101...

Daddy is helping Dietrich learn how to ride a bike. He was wearing Evelyn's helmet becasue we couldn't find his.  We did find it later, and he was happy.

Evelyn and Dietrich just looked so cute together!

Day 100...

It is real live green grass!  Spring has come and it is wonderful!

Day 99...

They got new "rides" at the mall!  Dietrich was very excited to ride on Scoop with Bob the builder.

Day 98...

This is our home.  We really enjoy it and it works for us.  Three bedrooms,  a large eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, large living room, one full bath along with a half bath and main floor laundry.

Day 97...

Jessie's mom sent him this white fishing hat.  The first time he took the boat out he let Devan wear it and Devan fell in some mud and got the hat dirty, very dirty.  Jessie didn't htink I could get it clean, but I did!  Yeah for Oxiclean and my new washer!

Day 96...

Dietrich is definately a boy.  He loves to jump in puddles.  It is so cute!

Day 95...

This is our cat, Skye.  He is seven years old and a mellow cat which is great for our house of craziness.  He is  long hair cat so we have to get him groomed every few months.  I always think he looks so nice when he gets groomed.  He is such a pretty kitty.

Day 94...

Happy Easter!  The Easter Bunny brought us lots of goodies, with some help from Grandma Deb.  What a great day!  We had the easter egg hunt at home with our kids and then we went to Great-Grandma Evelyn's for lunch.  After lunch, the kids had another egg hunt where they made out like bandits.  Here are some pictures of the egg hunts.

Day 93...

This year we bought a new wooden playset.  Here is Devan helping to put it together.  The kids are all very excited about it.  This year we are trying to focus on making our backyard a place we all want to spend time in.  So far we have built the new playset and bought a fire pit, something I have always wanted.  Now we need to take down the old swingset, clean up the garden, plant our new garden, find a patio set we like and buy it.  Turns out we also have to replace our picnic table, the wood is rotten and falling apart.  I am so excited to see what the yard will look like when we are done.

Day 92...

One of my favorite stores.  I love to read and this store had been one of my favorites for a very long time.  When I was in high school I would come here, grab a book, get a white chocolate mocha or hot cocoa, curl up in one of their comfy chairs and just read for a few hours.  I still love to do that, I just don't have as much time to do so anymore.

Day 91...

You can't really see it in this photo, but Timothy plays like a monkey.  He uses both his hands and his feet.  It is so cute!

day 90...

So we picked up our quarter of a cow today.  192 pounds of beef later, my deep freezer is pretty full.  Thank goodness we have a decent sized freezer in our fidge.  Yeah for fresh beef!

Day 89..

My son, the walking advertisment.  We have the Diego shirt, the Ben 10 omnitrix, and the Toy Story cowboy boots.  He sure does love his cartoons.

Day 88...

Should have used the flash on this one I guess.  Timothy has recently discovered that he knows how to stand up holding on to things.  So we see it quite a bit, especially when he is crying.

Day 87...

Savannah is such a big girl, sitting at the dining room table in her booster seat.

Day 86...

Tonight we attended the annual Egg Roll event at the Lee's home.  The children had a blast and Evelyn made it into the quarter finals.  This is Evelyn rolling off against Hannah.  It was a really fun and relaxing night.  Thanks you guys.

Day 85...

I really wanted flowers and Evelyn insisted on roses...including the rainbow colored one.

Day 84...

The hub of the main floor...my changing table.  We have diapers, wipes, lotions, creams and all kinds of baby goodies.  Then we have an overflow of baby toys.  Someday my living room will be mine again...someday.

Day 83...

The perfect way for mom to relax after a stressful hour, day, week, month or even year.
